Plan for the Fan
The air purifier is designed for rooms with 158 sp. Ft. of the area with 10 fts of ceiling height. So the required CADR for delivering clean air was 268m3/hr = 158 cfm. The fan shown is of USHA brand with 150 mm of sweep and was taken from old air purifier , but it was only able to deliver air at a rate of 153m3/hr at 1500 RPM. So I replaced its motor with more powerful motor which was able to achieve 3000RPM , So according to fan law by doubling the impeller rpm we get doubled CFM. Now our air purifier was able to deliver air at more than 300 m3/hr.
